How does a floor become a tree? Quite simple: by taking responsibility.
With the new cooperation between ROBIA and the Styrian Holzling Reforestation Project, this becomes possible. For a defined area of installed ROBIA floors, Holzling plants native trees—directly in the region where our roots are. The plantings are carried out under expert supervision and maintained for ten years. In this way, a tree becomes a living symbol of our commitment to sustainability.
A Contribution to CO₂ Compensation
For Managing Director Christian Wipfler, sustainability is not a marketing buzzword but has always been a lived principle: “Our floors are durable, repairable, and resource-efficient. With the partnership with Holzling, we are taking it one step further and making a visible commitment to the future.”
For Holzling owner Patrick Frewein, the partnership with ROBIA is also a fruitful collaboration. Holzling stands for sustainable reforestation and a respectful approach to nature. Every tree planted helps strengthen native forests and sequester CO₂ in the long term.
“I am thrilled about the partnership with ROBIA. Together, we show that sustainability doesn’t have to be complicated—you just have to start.”
Responsibility that Grows Back
The collaboration with Holzling complements ROBIA’s existing CO₂ reduction certification—and makes every project a bit greener. For companies that value sustainable sourcing, this means: transparent impact, regional support, and a credible addition to the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals).
And the best part: something grows that lasts. Ideally, for generations.
