How We Achieve Climate Neutrality Through Innovative Processes
For us at ROBIA, sustainability is not just a label we attach to ourselves. On the contrary: Over the past years and decades, we have committed ourselves to society and take our responsibility as part of it seriously – locally, across the EU, and globally.
Sustainable practices have now shaped our work for three generations. Whenever possible, we prefer soil remediation over replacement or new installation, thereby sustainably conserving our shared resources and climate.
Our goal is to contribute to making Europe the first CO2-neutral continent in accordance with the European Green Deal!

We align ourselves with our CSR and act in accordance with ESG frameworks to operate more sustainably across all areas of our company. This applies to the selection of our suppliers, in employee management, as well as in the revitalization of old floors.

Reforestation Project Holzling
Trees for a Better Future: Sustainability has always been a mission for us that requires active engagement. That’s why, together with the Styrian Reforestation Project Holzling, we plant native trees in Styria for a predefined ROBIA service. The young company selects suitable tree species and also takes care of their maintenance for ten years.
This forward-looking collaboration is part of our sustainability strategy and a regional commitment to greater environmental awareness. Together, we demonstrate that sustainability starts at the ground level—and grows beyond itself with the right care.
What do CSR & ESG mean?
CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) steht für „corporate social responsibility“ and means that we, as a company, always keep the impacts of our decisions on social interactions and the environment in mind.
ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) are the criteria we use to measure our responsibility as a company towards people, society, and the environment.

- Governance: Transparent corporate governance and decision-making
ROBIA as Part of the EU Green Deal
As a company based in the EU, we are actively committed to achieving the ambitious climate goals of the European Union under the Green Deal. The goal is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by at least 55% by 2030 and to achieve climate neutrality as a continent by 2050. This means that all future emissions should be offset through EU-wide measures, thereby alleviating the climate.
At ROBIA, we support these goals through our self-developed plastic floor renovation process, which not only saves CO2-emissions but also minimizes the use of new raw materialsIn doing so, we help reduce our own cological footprint as well as that of the construction industry as a whole while conserving natural resources. Together with our partners and suppliers, we focus on innovation and transparency to develop and implement sustainable solutions.
