Since July 15, the application for the Craftsman's Bonus is now possible, allowing you to have part of the costs for the work performed reimbursed. This includes, for example, if you had a new floor installed or a floor renovation done by us! What exactly the Craftsman's Bonus is and how you can apply for it is explained in our blog post.
What is the Craftsman's Bonus?
The Craftsman's Bonus is an initiative by the Austrian federal government and the Ministry of Labor and Economy. As a private individual, it allows you to receive subsidies for work carried out in your private living and residential area. It doesn't matter whether the work involves necessary renovations or expansions, such as an air conditioning system, a terrace roof, or new floors – all labor costs (excluding taxes) are eligible for funding, up to a maximum subsidy of 2,000 euros. An official invoice and the work period are important: only work carried out from March 1, 2024, onwards qualifies for the bonus.
How do I apply for the Craftsman's Bonus?
Starting from July 15, you can apply for the Craftsman's Bonus via the website handwerkerbonus.gv.at . You can either fill out a form and upload it as a PDF, or submit your application via ID Austria or with an official photo ID. It is also possible to submit a summary of multiple invoices – however, only one application per year and applicant is allowed.
I had my floor newly installed or renovated by ROBIA. Can I receive funding for this work?
Of course, our services are also eligible for the Craftsman's Bonus. Both floor installation and plastic floor renovation are eligible for funding, as well as floor renovation. So now is the perfect time to give your old floor a fresh shine in the spirit of sustainability or to install a new, high-quality floor in your home!
The ROBIA team is happy to support you with your project – and with applying for the Craftsman's Bonus!
